Best for you

Best if this is your first time

Ranked on the two things that decide whether a first course succeeds: reachable clinical support and a price that does not punish you for going slowly.

Updated 2026-09-18

How we are paid: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission if you sign up through our link. It does not buy a better score, a higher position, or the removal of a single criticism. Our rating method and full disclosure are both public.

Most people who abandon a GLP-1 do it in the first eight weeks, and side effects are almost always why. That makes the first course a different buying decision from a renewal.

So this page filters on two things: whether you can reach a clinician when a dose goes badly, and whether you can leave without forfeiting a prepaid block. Price still counts — it is the heaviest weight in our rubric — but it is not the only thing that decides whether you are still taking this in month three.

How we decided what belongs here

  • Scores 3.5 or better on clinical support.
  • Month-to-month available — no prepaid block or fixed contract required.
  • Ranked on the full rubric.

12 of the 21 providers we track qualify. Prices checked 2026-09-18 and re-checked periodically.

Cheapest qualifying option: Ozari Health at $125 a month. Our featured partner is pinned to the top of the list where it qualifies — see how we rate for who scores higher.

1. Coreage Rx — Best overall on true monthly cost

$199 a month, no membership fee. Flat-rate telehealth program for compounded GLP-1s. The medication, the clinician visits and the ongoing check-ins are quoted as one number, with no separate membership billed alongside it.

The $99 and $149 rates are annual-plan prices. If you want month-to-month, budget $149 and $199 instead, and check the refund terms before prepaying a year. Read the full Coreage Rx review.

2. PlexusDx — Pharmacy transparency and genetic testing

$189 a month, no membership fee. Prescription GLP-1 and peptide programmes with no membership fee, built around genetic testing, using independent clinicians and a publicly listed set of 503A pharmacies.

The advertised "from $129" is the programme floor. Budget $189/month for the compounded injection tier. Read the full PlexusDx review.

3. Ozari Health — Lowest advertised semaglutide price

$125 a month, no membership fee. Flat-rate compounded GLP-1 telehealth service operating in all 50 states, with physician review through the Arora Health network and a dedicated health concierge.

Confirm whether $86 is a month-to-month rate or requires a longer commitment, and ask which pharmacy compounds it. Read the full Ozari Health review.

Questions people ask us

How long before I notice anything?

Appetite changes often appear within the first fortnight. The starting dose is an acclimatisation dose rather than a treatment dose, so the first month or two can feel underwhelming — that is expected.

Should I commit to an annual plan to save money?

Not at the start. Get through two dose increases first, then switch if it suits you. You give up a little saving and remove most of the risk.

Before you choose on price

Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. Two approved oral GLP-1s now start around $149 a month, and from 1 July 2026 eligible Medicare beneficiaries can access certain GLP-1s for $50 a month — both of which beat a large part of this market. See the approved pills and the Medicare programme.

In SURMOUNT-1, adults with obesity lost an average of 19.5% of body weight on 10 mg and 20.9% on 15 mg over 72 weeks. That figure comes from a controlled trial of the active ingredient, not from any particular seller's product.

  • Flat pricing at every dose

Programmes where the price does not rise as your dose does — which matters more over a year than most advertised discounts.

  • No commitment required

Month-to-month programmes you can leave without forfeiting a prepaid block or a twelve-month contract.

  • Best GLP-1s if you are over 60

Clinical support and Medicare eligibility matter far more at this age than the lowest monthly price. Ranked accordingly.
