About Steady Shot
We cover one thing carefully: what it is actually like to take a weekly GLP-1 injection, and which of 19 programmes handle that well.
Why we started with the injection rather than the price
Because most people who stop taking these medications stop in the first eight weeks, and almost never because of the money. They stop because the nausea was worse than they expected, or because the dose went up before they were ready, or because there was nobody to ask.
Price still matters enormously — it is the heaviest weight in our rubric. But a cheap programme you quit in week six has cost you more than an expensive one you stay on.
How we work
- Prices come from published sources and are verified by hand. Last checked 2026-09-18.
- We pay particular attention to how each programme prices the dose ladder, because that shapes clinical decisions.
- Scores are computed from the rubric on how we rate.
What we are not
Not a pharmacy, not a telehealth provider, not a medical practice. We do not prescribe or dispense, and nothing here is medical advice. Our injection and side-effect guides describe what is generally true; your prescriber’s instructions take priority over anything we write, and both of these drugs carry contraindications that a questionnaire will not always catch.
We also do not publish invented reviews — no fabricated patient quotes, no star ratings dressed up as surveys we never ran.
How this is paid for
One commercial partnership, explained on our disclosure page. Corrections to hello@cheapglp1shots.com.
