Privacy
This is a guide, not a clinic. We do not ask for health information and ask you not to include it in a message.
What we collect
- Standard server logs — pages requested, time, truncated IP, browser string.
- Anonymous aggregate traffic counts, so we know which guides get used.
- If you email us, your message and address, kept only as long as needed to reply.
What we do not collect
- Medical intake information. Our contact form is for publication questions; do not include health details.
- Payment details or postal addresses. We collect your name and email only when you send a publication message.
- Anything we would pass to a data broker.
Links out to programmes
Our links to companies carry tracking parameters so they can see the visit came from this site — that is how the affiliate arrangement is counted. They identify the article, not you. Once you are on another company’s site, their policy applies. Telehealth intake forms usually carry far more tracking than this site does, which is worth knowing before you fill one in with your medical history.
Cookies
This site uses PostHog for usage analytics and Meta Pixel for page-view and advertising measurement. These services receive page URLs, browser and device information, IP addresses, identifiers and interaction data, and may use cookies or browser storage. PostHog is configured to create profiles for anonymous visitors. Meta may associate visits with a Meta account. Browser settings and blocking tools can limit collection.

CARX contact messages
When you contact this publication, we collect your name, email address, selected topic and message so the team can read and respond. EmailBump processes delivery and stores the email conversation in our CARX workspace. Cloudflare Turnstile processes security-check information to help prevent automated submissions. Do not include medical records, prescription details or payment information. Sending a message does not enroll you in marketing. Use our contact form for privacy questions about a message you sent; treatment and provider-account requests belong with that provider.
