What happens to prepaid months if I stop?

It varies enormously, and it is the single most important thing to read before prepaying. Some refund, some credit, some keep it.

Can supply problems affect a prepaid plan?

Yes, and it is worth asking about. The compounding rules are being rewritten, and a supply route closing mid-contract is a real scenario.

Before you choose on price

Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. Two approved oral GLP-1s now start around $149 a month, and from 1 July 2026 eligible Medicare beneficiaries can access certain GLP-1s for $50 a month — both of which beat a large part of this market. See the approved pills and the Medicare programme.
